CCBU’s Feijoada, at Botequim Carioca, to meet and greet Valéria Sorrentino, Director of Miami International Film Festival, who presented the Brazilian Films that participated in the festival.

Botequim Cultural: A series of 4 weekly talks, presented by the Brazilian music expert Gene de Souza, who commented on the life of 4 great Brazilian Composers. The songs of each composer were performed by Rose Max and Ramatis.

CCBU participated in the Brazilian Cultural Night, promoted by West Dade Regional Library, with the screening of the Brazilian film “Tainá”.

CCBU at the Brazil Mini Fest, which honored Brazil at the West Dade Regional Library. CCBU presented the great storyteller Tatiana Henrique.

CCBU participated at Focus Brasil with the panel “Nossa Língua Portuguesa: a herança e o futuro dos nossos filhos na América”.

For the second time Brazil participated in MIAC (Miami International Art Cocktail), coordinated by CCBU and represented by the selected Brazilian artists Eleonora Goretkin and Silvana Soriano.

CCBU participated in the “Art of Storytelling” festival with the participation of the multi-media artist Daniel Azulay.

CCBU invited its members to meet the 35 young Brazilian dancers chosen to participate in the Miami City Ballet School.

Feijoada & Films: CCBU luncheon with the presence of Viviane Spinelli, Director of the Brazilian Film Festival of Miami. Viviane gave a preview of the movies and distributed free passes to the registered guests.

CCBU promoted the Independence of Brazil luncheon, at Fogo de Chão restaurant.

CCBU participated with a booth at the Fall for the Arts, where more than 500 visitors stopped by CCBU’s booth to get to know our organization.

The students Solange Malavazi and Jonathan Eidam were selected to receive the CCBU - TAM ODEBRECHT scholarship.

CCBU coordinated the participation of two awarded Brazilian writers, Ana Maria Gonçalves and Mary Del Priore, at the Miami Book Fair International.
